On the palate, it’s bold yet impeccably structured—dense with dark fruit, licorice, and baking spices, supported by firm tannins and vibrant acidity. The high-elevation site lends this Zinfandel both power and finesse, delivering a long, resonant finish that echoes with spice and stony depth. A true mountain-grown masterpiece.

The 2023 Zinfandel Dragon Vineyard is a seriously forbidding wine with tons of mountain structure, acid and tannin. Unyielding and imposing, the Dragon is searing in its intensity. Red fruit, blood orange, chalk, mint and white pepper all race across the palate, supported by incisive, pointy tannins. Iron, white flowers and slate lend tension to the finish.
