Tua Rita Toscana Perlato del Bosco Red is a 100% Sangiovese wine from the estate vineyards in Suvereto. This elegant wine boasts a concentrated, dense, and nearly opaque purple color that offers a tantalizing bouquet of blackberries, black cherries, currants, ripe plums, tea leaves, exotic spices, and leather. Crafted from a particularly encouraging vintage, the winemaking process involves 6 months in conical oak vats and 10 months in barriques, resulting in a wine that beautifully captures the classic coastal notes of Macchia Mediterranea.
On the palate, Perlato del Bosco is rich and full-bodied, with enticing fruit flavors accompanied by notes of anise, violets, and peppery spice, all framed by fine-grained tannins. Its good acidity makes it easy to drink young but also suitable for aging.
