This is a gorgeous wine showing blackberries, walnuts, fresh sage and thyme, with some dark earth underneath it all. It’s medium- to full-bodied with crunchy fruit and lots of bark, dark fruit and light tar, with volcanic soil undertones at the end. Juicy. Old-vine selection of 85% sangiovese and 15% cabernet sauvignon. A sensuous wine.
