The 2023 Dolcetto d'Alba Vignavillej is terrific. Bold and punchy, with terrific freshness, the 2023 is an absolute delight. Brisk acids drive through a core of blue/purplish fruit, licorice, graphite, menthol and sage. This is a Serralunga Dolcetto (from Brea) with real distinction. Aging in steel keeps the flavors vibrant.
