The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Feusselottes 1er Cru has a tightly wound bouquet that seems to spring forth with aeration, offering blackberry, raspberry and cassis aromas laced with popourri and subtle earthy notes. Palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins, a find bead of acidityand well-integrated new oak. This is promising.
the vibrant medium weight flavors possess a gorgeous silky mouthfeel thanks to the fine-grained tannins shaping the sappy, stony and mocha and bitter pit fruit-inflected finish. Good stuff that should age well yet be approachable early on.
