Pure amber color. Aromas of buttery praline, honeyed dried cherries and figs, and creamy spiced cocoa follow through on a smooth, silky entry to a dry-yet-fruity medium-full body with great depth and spicy fruitiness. Finishes with a long, generous, honeyed nut and grain fade. Delicious, elegant, and very mixable.

The high rye content delivers a laudable balance between the wood-sugar sweetness and rye spiciness, with its nose of maple syrup, pecan, nutmeg, pepper, and fresh oak. On the palate it presents sweet maple syrup with raisin and fig notes, blakc currant jelly, leather, root beer, and toasted oak before the spices start kicking up dust.
